John 8:12 & Trijicon Military Riflescopes

Did you know that Trijicon, a company that makes weapons for the U.S. military inscribed this verse, as well as 2 Cor. 4:6, on all their ACOG combat riflescopes? It was started under the companies founder Glyn Bindon who was a devout Christian. Sadly, some atheist groups made a stink about it and Trijicon was forced to discontinue the inscription in order to keep their contract with the US Government. Trijicon was very open about their strong Christian beliefs in their mission statement, "We believe that America is great when its people are good,....This goodness has been based on Biblical standards throughout our history, and we will strive to follow those morals." I applaud Bindon for his boldness in expressing his faith, many Christian business owners hide their faith in fear of losing business. I do wish Trijicon could have told the US Government to pound sand, but I understand the ramifications of losing a $660 million dollar contract, mid production.
